Marshfield Area Catholic Schools (MACS) believes that the well-rounded individual will ultimately be most successful in life. To that end, MACS provides countless activities beyond the classroom to complement students’ academic achievements and to enhance all facets of the human being.
MACS students take full advantage of these opportunities to grow as individuals, to develop latent skills, to bond with classmates, and to make a difference in our community.
At both St. John the Baptist Primary (SJBP) and at Our Lady of Peace Intermediate (OLPI), the students work on projects as a class. The types of activities range from athletic programs like “The Dribbling Dons” to community service projects involving the needy and the elderly.
Over 90% of the Columbus Catholic Middle and High School students choose to participate in athletics, drama, music, and/or a wide range of other extra-curricular activities. Some of these activities are done as class projects, but the vast majority are chosen by the individual student as they have continued to learn more about themselves and what they want to do with their lives.
Fostering a strong sense of responsibility for one’s self and all others, our emphasis on academics, co-curriculars, and faith development prepares our students for the challenges of adulthood and guides them through a lifetime of learning.
